Jacob (Kobi) Ben-Zvi has been the Vice President and General Manager of PMC-Sierra’s Wireless Infrastructure and Networking Division since November, 2010. Mr. Ben-Zvi has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He joined PMC-Sierra in 2010 through the acquisition ofMagma portfolio company Wintegra Inc. which he co-founded in 2000 and served as the President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors since its inception. Prior to foundingWintegra, Mr. Ben-Zvi was at Motorola, Inc. since 1982, where he held numerous positions at Motorola and its affiliated companies, including tenure as co-general Manager of the Networking and Communications Systems Division, Director of Networking and Computing Core Technology Development, Business Unit Manager of Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector’s Networking and Communications operations. In his early years at Motorola, Mr. Ben-Zvi built and managed the design team responsible for Motorola’s communications processors.
Mr. Ben-Zvi holds his Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from theUniversityofBridgeport,and his B.s.C. in Electrical Engineering fromTel-AvivUniversity.
