Through entrepreneurship and academic research, Sagi Schliesser has amassed vast experience in mobile computing, particularly in content, applications, channels and delivery management platforms. For eight years, Sagi served as a Major in an elite Israeli Defense Forces intelligence unit, and in his last role there, he served as a department manager.
Sagi was the CTO and VP of R&D for Sapians Technologies (NASDAQ: SPNS) where he led a technology group of over 120 people as a profit and loss unit, was key in Sapiens' turnaround, and helped position the company's products as industry leaders.
Formally, Sagi worked in the departments of Product Management and Architecture at HP Software. Prior to HP, he was the CTO and VP of R&D for IDIT, which built acomprehensive suite for core insurance, and was rated by Celent as 'leading in the magic quadrant'. Sagi co-founded ECS, a revolutionary mobile e-reader platform which combined cutting-edge research in cognitive psychology with the latest mobile devices and software. Sagi served as CTO for two companies; ECU, responsible for all software and IT operational aspects, and WWCom, World Wide Commerce, a Start-up founded on B2B principles of Third Party Financing (TPF) and Third Party Logistics (TPL).
Sagi not only brings extensive software programming and development experience to Tabtale, but he also has a long-time passion for writing, and even published a children’s book of his own titled Hi-Tech Dad.
Sagi holds his B.Sc. with Honors in Computer Science and Psychology, his M.Sc. in Computer Science, and his MBA with Honors in Management Psychology.
