Mr. Amit Mattatia is the President and CEO of Opgal, a global leader in infrared imaging solutions. Prior to joining Opgal, Amit was the President and CEO of Trivnet, a Magma portfolio company. He led the company to become a global enabler of mobile financial services, managed a fund-raising round that included a strategic investor, and sold Trivnet to Gemalto (NASDAQ: GTOFF). Before joining Trivnet, Amitserved as the V.P. and General Manager at Comverse (NASDAQ: CMVT), where he headed the IP Messaging Line of Business, consisting of 3 Business Units. He also served as President and CEO of SpeedWise, and brought it to leadership in Wireless Internet Optimization. Amit spent 9 years with the Compaq Computer Corporation, first as Manager of Services Marketing for Europe, then as a co-founder of Compaq Israel and its Deputy General Manager, and finally, following the acquisition of Digital Equipment by Compaq Corporation, as the Head of Marketing for the joint organization.
Besides his managerial career, Amit is regularly involved in numerous ventures as an entrepreneur and an advisor.
Amit holds his B.Sc. Summa Cum Laude, in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his MBA from INSEAD of Fontainebleau, France.
