Gil is a seasoned executive in the networking and network security market with experience in the many aspects of growing a technology start-up from its 'garage days' to a successful company, combining vision and innovation with successful execution towards market success. Prior to founding Avanan, Gil was an executive at ForeScout Technologies where he served as the VP R&D and VP Technology, and lead the company's pivot to Network Access Control, it's first commercial breakthrough. Gil holds a B.Sc. in Physics and Computer Science (Cum-Laude) and M.Sc. in Computer Science (Cum-Laude) both from the Tel-Aviv University.
